About Us

Since 1972, the Friends of the Oakley Library have proudly supported the Oakley Public Library. We speak out in the community about the value of our Library, and advocate for positive library resources, programs and improvements.

Friends of the Oakley Library is an all-volunteer, registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We raise funds through our memberships, our book sale area located in the library and donations.

100% of the funds we raise are used to:

  • Enrich children's lives through innovative services and programs which include all-abilities storytime,  kindergarten prep programming, and enhancing the book collection in the library.
  • Provide funding for Library program supplies and equipment, including paper, pens, markers, materials for take-home kits and other art supplies.
  • Support programs for patrons of all ages and abilities.

Join Friends of the Oakley Library today to support this vital community institution!
